The Texas State Legislative Board Chairman is involved in many areas of member representation. Lobbying in Austin for issues pertinent to the BLE&T membership is only one of the numerous duties inherent to the position. Assisting in the resolution of safety issues between members and the employer are also important to the office. Brother Briggs spent eight years in the 1st Vice Chairman position prior to being elected as Chairman.
